Horror at school as staff member 'threatens male pupil with a GUN after argument'
A member of staff at a school held a gun to a pupil's head, it has been alleged.
Police are looking into the incident which took place at a school for children with special needs in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.
It is believed that the man was joking around with a male pupil in a common room at the school which cannot be identified.

However, the mood is said to have turned sour and the man threatened to kill the boy.
He is then believed to have left the school later returning with a gun that he held against the youngsters head.
Following the incident another member of staff heard the gunman say that he had forgotten to check whether or not the weapon was loaded.
The man then walked out of the room with the gun with no shots being fired and no injuries reported.
One witness said they thought the weapon was a single barrelled shotgun, while another source said it may have been an antique gun.
Suffolk police yesterday confirmed that officers have spoken to a man in connection with the incident on March 4.

They are refusing to identify the school in Bury St Edmunds for legal reasons or the type of gun involved.
A spokesman for Suffolk County Council said : 'We have been informed about an incident that allegedly happened at one of our education centres.
'The matter is currently being investigated by the police and as such, it would be inappropriate to comment further at this stage.'
Suffolk Police said: 'We are currently investigating an alleged incident at an education establishment.
'A man has been spoken with in connection with the alleged offence and officers are liaising with the education authorities to ascertain whether any offences have taken place' -- For me this just about 'slams the door shut' on any argument for allowing teachers to have guns in schools ... the outcome of this incident could have been tragic!! - Fx
