POLICE have issued an urgent appeal for information on missing Zoya Anwar after arresting five people in connection with her disappearance today.
The 18-year-old A-level student was last seen at the gates of Kind Edward VI School in Birmingham last week.
West Midlands Police have arrested four men and one woman in connection with the Handsworth school pupil and investigating with an open mind.

Detective Superintendent Jo Chilton said: "Whilst we are keeping an open mind, we are very concerned for her and need to know she is safe and well as a matter of urgency.
"We are carrying out extensive inquiries to trace Zoya, with specialist officers from across the force working around the clock to try to find her.
"We are looking into a number of possibilities around Zoya's disappearance, including her running away from home, her being taken against her will or any worries Zoya may have had herself."

Over the past few days police have carried out door-to-door enquires along with forencics searches.
Headmistress of Zoya's school Elisabeth Wager said: "Zoya joined the school in the sixth form with an exemplary school record.
"She has continued to achieve at a high academic standard and has a bright future ahead of her" -- And it wouldn't take a genius to hazard a guess as to what I think has happened to Zoya!! - I hope she is found safe and well, very soon ...
